MedSeaPOD is a citizen science project that invites everyone to help monitor sea temperatures around the island of San Pietro (Sardinia), helping to understand how climate change is affecting the Mediterranean.

St. Peter's: a small island with big importance!
In 2024, we began installing monitoring devices around St. Peter’s Island with the help of citizen scientists.
Our goal?
Creating the first ultra-coastal heat map of the Mediterranean Sea.
